Selected location stands out clearly in the sidebar
Clicking a location in the sidebar used to update your selection without any visible change — every card stayed at the same brightness, so there was no clear signal about which one was active.
Now, when you select a location, that card stays at full opacity while the others fade back. The contrast makes it easy to see at a glance where you are, especially in a long list. Clicking a different card shifts the highlight to that one. Clicking the same card again deselects it and all cards return to full opacity.
The behavior works the same way in both list view and gallery view (the two-column grid). The transition is smooth, so the shift in focus is clear without being abrupt. Dark mode is also handled — the opacity change reads just as well on dark backgrounds.
