Map thumbnails now appear on new locations right away
When you created a new location, the map thumbnail would often be missing — showing a blank placeholder instead of the expected static map image — for up to six hours after the location was added.
The thumbnail generator was being started in the background and then cut off before it could finish, leaving the location without an image until the next scheduled catch-up run. The generator now completes before the response is considered done, so both the dark and light map thumbnails are written within seconds of the location being created. Existing locations that were caught in this gap will be backfilled automatically over the next scheduled run.
As part of this fix, map thumbnails now match your current color scheme. The platform picks the dark or light variant based on your UI theme, so the static map fallback looks consistent whether you're working in dark mode or light mode. Real site photos, when present, are unaffected and continue to display regardless of theme.
