Everything now uses a single classification system. A file's category is determined by what it actually is — its type and verification status — not by what its filename ends with. That means IFC files, point clouds, and other assets that previously slipped through now appear in the right place, every time.
What's different in each surface:
- Download modal — assets are grouped into consistent categories (BIM, Floor Plans, Reports, Site Photos, Virtual Tours, and others) with icons. The grouping matches what you see everywhere else in the project.
- BIM tab — the model picker now separates verified and unverified BIM models clearly, so you can tell at a glance which models have passed QA/QC.
- CAD tab — the floor-plan picker uses the same grouping logic, so only floor-plan files appear there.
- Report tab — the sidebar lists only PDF reports, with no unrelated files mixed in.
- ACC export — IFC files and point clouds now appear in the asset selector. If you previously exported to ACC and noticed certain files were missing, they will now show up correctly.
- Procore export — the export flow now includes an asset selection step before the destination browser, so you choose exactly which files to send before picking where they go.
No settings have changed and no action is needed on your end. If you use the ACC or Procore export flows regularly, you may notice files that were previously absent now appearing in the selector — those files were always in your project, they just weren't being surfaced correctly.
