Each tab in the project viewer now has an Add [Asset Type] button in its toolbar. The button label reflects the tab you're on — Add Report, Add CAD Drawing, Add Scan, and so on. Clicking it opens the upload modal with the asset type and project location already filled in, so you don't have to re-select context you've already established by being on that tab.
Empty states on each tab work the same way. If a tab has no assets yet, the empty state includes a direct link that opens the upload modal with the same preselected values. Getting from "nothing here yet" to uploading the right file type is now a single click.
To upload from a tab: open any project, navigate to the tab for the asset type you want to add (Scans, CAD Drawings, Reports, etc.), and click the Add [Asset Type] button in the toolbar. The upload modal opens with the type and location already set. Confirm or adjust the details, then upload your file.
A few things to keep in mind: preselected values are editable inside the modal — if you need to change the asset type or target location before uploading, you can do so before submitting. The upload flow itself is unchanged; this change only affects how the modal opens and what it pre-fills.
